Bible Studies based on sermons by visiting speakers to VBC. VBC is blessed to get many high quality visiting speakers. The studies here are stand alone. Use them in a group or for personal study.
Christmas Series 2022
Studies relating to Advent and Christmas 2022. Two studies exploring two of the names of Jesus. Wonderful Counsellor and Mighty God.
Summer Series 2023 Encounters with Jesus
A generic study looking at various people Jesus met. The study explores how people responded to Jesus and how He interacted with them. This can be done over a series of weeks looking at one story per session.

A booklet of seven studies; reflections for Lent. Ideal for life groups that meet weekly or for personal devotions.
Romans
Studies based on Sermons by Rev. C. Short. This lengthy series explores one of the most challenging books in the New Testament. The book of Romans unpicks and explains the gospel message. It then explains why we need to embrace the gospel and what the benefits are of embracing the gospel. It addresses the implications of the gospel for the people of Israel and Paul concludes his letter with several chapters of basic instructions and exhortations that flesh out the practical implications of the gospel in everyday life.
